What is Democracy?
The Question is itself
now a "sword of Damocles"
hanging not over the King
but on the meek and feeble
subjects who are none
but the subject matter
of the very same Democracy.
the bills are enacted by
those invisible vicious
"black holes"
ranging from the irrational impulse
to unjust caste and creed,
to illegitimate thrust and
some dogmatic convulsions
and to what not?
the paper ballots got an evolution
of playful or mischievous
button clicks.
the democracy is blown out of
its homomorphism
and thrown into pieces
and drown to an abyss of
obscurantism.
the voting is a grand jubilation
results in again a grand
void and and waste.
the promises are the primroses
obnoxiously beautiful with
hidden prickly-pears.
they are the sugar coated pills
not for curing a disease
of godly hallucinations of the people
who run amok with illusions
towards a whimper of death
for a thought of "democracy".
the vampire of theocratic oligarchy
makes all the values and virtues
bleed alas! bleed alas!
