hiya,

i'm trying to get info displayed in the camera viewport, have multi
cameras setup nicely with zooShots and want to get the currentShot
displayed using zooHUDCtrl but just can't seem to get it working. it
doesn't appear in the list in the HUD window and i can't seem to set
it, even as a mel command. i've tried just currentShot int he box an
also:

zooWriteHUDString("currentShot","");

and i get:

// Error: line 0: Invalid object or value: , //
// Error: line 0: Unable to parse the argument list. //

any ideas anyone? have no idea where i'm going wrong. it's there in
the zooHUDCtrl.mel file, i just can't seem to make it work.

thanks so much

dan

gosh... its been sooo long since I've used that tool.

anyway, looks like the easiest way is to set the quadrant you want to
something, then select the node that stores the zooHUD data
(zooHUDCtrl is its usual name) and in the extra attributes, set the
attribute to read "currentShot". then in the tool, go to Functions-
>Remove All, Functions->Display All to force a refresh of the data and
voila.
-h.
