What happens if you run CompuPic first and then run Zoot?

Subject: RE: [Zoot XT] Crash of other software

I have a photo cataloging and tune-up program called CompuPic - and older version, 6.2. It is pretty resource intensive.

I'm in XP, 2G RAM; I have Chrome running, with a couple dozen tabs; several dozen documents open in OpenOffice; and Thunderbird (the OO & Mozillas are all latest versions.)

When I try to open CompuPic, it crashes - and Soluto pops up saying that Zoot has crashed. One time it reported that "Zoot Sleeper" had crashed.

Any suggestions how I can resolve this?

Thanks,
Christian

That's what's really odd - I not running Zoot!

OK, help me out here. I have not "started" Zoot; but for the sake of reporting, I looked at Task Master - and "Zoot Sleeper" is running.

Sorry to say, I am not familiar with this function,

Christian

Zoot Sleeper is a little applet that lets you start Zoot by pressing Alt+Z.  You can turn it off via Tools | Options | Startup.  Uncheck the Allow Alt+Z to launch Zoot checkbox.
