I have had this problem before and now I have it again.  I have reviewed every folder with an action and none of them set due dates.   What else can I do to try to solve this problem?

Two things to check:

Folder Actions

1. Press Ctrl+Alt+* and choose Tree | Actions from the pop-up menu.  Zoot will display all folders with actions attached.

2. Hover your mouse over the icon of each folder in the Folder Tree to see a description of the action.  If any works on the Due Date field, that might be the culprit.

Due Date Field

1. In the Item Grid, right-click on the Due Date column header and choose Edit Field from the pop-up menu.  Zoot will display the Field Properties dialog.

2. See if there are any Start Delimiters that might be in play.

Tom,

None of my actions were a problem and  I'm not clear on what you meant by Start Delimiters but that is OK.  When I edited the Date Due field I noticed the Reset button so I reset to default factory settings.  That did the trick.

Thank you very much for your help!

Great - resetting the field will have removed any start delimiters.  That was certainly the cause!
