amazon order disappeared

Earlier today I placed an order @ Amazon.com
As anyone who orders from Amazon knows, they promptly send a receipt of order to registered email address. 
When I clicked to get email, I saw a number of items come "flying" in & OUT of my inbox
I realize that I have a # of catalog folders but none of them contained the amazon order
I searched the email dB to no avail
I searched ALL my dBs to no avail 

I checked all items, new items, recent items, trash, archive dB

I can't imagine what might have happened to the email 
Fortunately I also have TB on my machine & I dbl chkd to see if the Amazon receipt had been sent
Indeed it had

Does anyone have ANY idea what might have happened with this email item. 

If I hadn't been watching I wouldn't have known that it had been sent. And now I wonder about the other items that arrived at the same time; this sorta shook my confidence in Zoot's email abilities although -- as far as I know -- this has never happened before.

Does anyone have ANY idea what might have happened with this email
item.

The mail database has a RoboMail folder which will catalog items that look like receipts, newsletters, etc.  You can delete the folder or modify the rules/actions as needed, but I would guess the Amazon e-mail is there.

Thanks for your prompt reply, Tom. I assumed that by doing a z search and a zz search I might have found it in any folder. In any case, I just checked the robomail folder and it's not there, either.  The plot thickens......

I see no RoboMail Folder in´my mail db. Where is this located?

This folder was added to the Mail database template about a month ago so you won't see it in any existing databases.  If you want to look at it, create a new database using the Mail template.  You can copy it over from there to your current Mail database if you want to use it.  Right-click the folder and choose Send To | Copy from the pop-up menu.
