Outlook sync

I'm using the new outlook; but it seems that Zoot wants to connect with the old outlook. I have multiple email accounts , but the old outlook only has one.

Is there a way to have it look at the new outlook?

I have been syncing with the old to databases because Zoot is so much better at searching and organizing. But with a new computer went to the new outlook.

Even better yet would be the ability to connect to Microsoft 365 accounts directly! Not sure what is involved there, but I'd donate money to get it to happen.

I've just finished up with the Gmail security process - Zoot is approved!  So that issue will be resolved in the next week or so after Google processes it on the backend.  This is the issue where Google reports that Zoot is unsafe for e-mail.

 

I'll make some time to revisit the Microsoft mail fiasco as it's been a while since I had to abandon it.  I believe the team at Mozilla/Thunderbird finally worked through the mess, so there may be a clearer path to success on that front.

The new Outlook does not support synchronization and it looks unlikely they will add it back.  Zoot should be able to connect to your MS365 accounts just as easily as it does with Gmail accounts, but unfortunately MS made it so difficult the team of programmers at Mozilla couldn't even figure it out.  I spent 30-40 hours on it myself and then gave up.  I'll give it another go.
