indented tree folders are not indented

My subfolders are clearly subfolders but I cannot get them to indent.  How do I fix this?

Not sure but today it is working. I will let you know if it happens
again.

If it happens again, press Ctrl+Alt+* and make sure Tree Default is checked in the pop-up menu.
