Contact DB Text Parsing

I was playing around with contacts and I was wondering if parsing text to a contact page via zooter works for anyone?   More often than not, the text fields do not populate correctly. I am not sure how zoot recognizes the text and populates it?

Ok good to know it is not me.  Parsing would be great.  I  have a number ideas how additional contact info could be fetched via links I would not mind suggesting, but I know you have  google and  videos on the todo. .

I should note that this is a neglected function because most folks require a cloud based contact solution, Google or Apple for the most part, so lower priority for Zoot. 

 

Sync with Google Contacts, Tasks, etc., is something I'm still interested in looking at.

That makes sense. I find the contacts database really helpful for creating a directory where having contact information is helpful.  Not necessarily people I need to actually contact regularly if at all.   So while it might have people in there, they are not people I reach out to regularly or at all- or businesses,  varying agencies,  organizations institutions etc.  

While it might be silly I used the contacts db as a template to keep a database about home appliances:)
