FB, you believe this is still useful?  Are you willing to pay his next week's salary?

This week: 45 hours

Tuesday 7/17/12: 9 hours
Wednesday  7/18/12: 7 hours
Thursday 7/19/12: 9 hours
Friday 7/20/12: 9 hours
Saturday 7/21/12: 8 hours
Sunday 7/22/12: 3 hours

The previous week: 26 hours

Tuesday 7/9/12: 7 hours
Thursday 7/11/12: 8 hours
Friday 7/12/12: 11 hours

These numbers are supported by my commit times throughout those weeks.

Last week I started to make all new pages based on the new GUI Felipe had shown me, which was the base of what you saw in the videos. Felipe reviewed my work from last week Wednesday and gave me some feedback which I used to improve the design I had applied to the pages I had already made. This week I have been working on the tweaks Felipe suggested as well as adding the jquery-like effects such as scrolling, linking up the image search to the image selector, and transferring all the previously designed widgets with the old ugly gui to a new file format called UiBinder(which is easier to work with for future web designers) and adding the new gui to them.

Thanks Adam, I appreciate it.  How many hours did you put into creating the attached?

Hey Collin,
Felipe had pointed out to me that my progress hasn't been very visible as none of it is live so he suggested I send you a quick screen capture of what I've been up to. Attached you will find two short clips giving a brief walk through of the features I have added to the project. The next step is linking these pages to our current functionality, which is what I will be focusing on this week.

a) I believe is not so useful as we are pivoting too much, so it's hard to develop without a specific target. Given that, I believe this last week was not his greatest but his is doing something. Also, he didn't have guidance at ALL as I was kinda lost and working on my stuff.

b) I ran out of money.

cool, doesn't sound like it would be disastrous to let him go.

ill tell him he can work for equity and we'd love to have him, but we can't justify paying him.  ok with everyone?

A + B didn't necessarily mean that. It's still useful to have someone else, and I'm not sure if we'll get someone better for that money.

Also, he's putting a lot of effort.
It is my fault that he is working on staff not so visible/useful...
So if we get him more involved in the process, he should be delivering more relevant stuff.

My two cents.
