text widget with logcat similar functionality - can it be done?

hi there,

zoom can show the content of a file in a text widget. however, this is
kind of "static".
is there a way to have only the last couple new lines written into the
text widget and constantly updated if new lines come in?

something like linux
"tail -f logfile"

or the simplest functionality of logcat but shown in a zoom text
widget?

I know with some programming that could be done with tasker, but I
actually like to use this tail -f text widget to output the tasker
runlog.txt. done with tasker, that runlog output would be full of
"wrong" lines..if you know what I mean

there seems not any app in google play (similar to catlog) that would
allow to select any file AND display the output in a widget. or is
there something like that?
