Hi All,

I have been using the ZoomFloppy adapter with my 1541, everything works great.
Format, copy and disk images both ways.

For my 1581 I can format and directory listings but when i try to do image copies i get some errors. I have tried many .d81 images and multiple 3.5 DSDD disks.
Here is the output:

cbmctrl detect
 8: 1581

cbmctrl pcommand 8 n0:TEST,42
(drive moves to all tracks and seems to format correctly)

cbmctrl status 8
00, ok,00,00

cbmctrl dir 8
0 ."TEST            " 42 3d
3160 blocks free.
00, ok,00,00

imgcopy --drive-type=1581 1581demodisk.d81 8

..And it dumps a bunch of these lines.

Is there something that I am missing or doing wrong ?

Thanks

Looks like a bug if it gets that far. Have you tried d81copy?

I've looked everywhere and can't find d81copy
I found 1581copy but that won't run on modern windows.

Is there a link to this somewhere? google has been useless.

Sorry, imgcopy is right. Maybe try different -t options for transfer types.

is there any chance of adding support for g64 to imgcopy?
there is only nibwrite for it, it would be nice to have another method.

I am surprised that you even came so far:

https://github.com/OpenCBM/OpenCBM/issues/89

Please try, with --no-warp and -ts2.

Spiro

There is a much higher chance that imgcopy will be removed (and replaced
with something better...)

If it's replaced with something better
Then please also add g71 support.

I thought those were just a rumor til I found some.

There are too many like f64,  z64, c64
Oh let's not forget d1m, d2m, d4m, dhd, dnp, dfi, and m2i ...

At this point I wouldn't bet against these being a g81 though I've never seen one :)
