Just curious whether you guys use the cabinet emulator on the zoom or
not. Especially those of you that go direct and don't use it with an
amp. If memory serves correct it says in the manual that the amps are
modelled with their respective cabinets included So it would seem it
doesn't make much sense to turn on the additional cabinet emulation.
Just wondering where others stand or if they found any cool tricks
with this. As it stands i am starting to lean towards not using the
cabinet emulations even for going direct.

I think using the emulator direct works better for me to get the true
tones, I also run my G9 through 2 Hartke GT60c''s for stereo sound fx,
setting them as flat and clean as possible helps a lot, if you have a
nice amp and love it's tone thats when you need to turn it off. but
some people prefer not to use it because they dont like the sound they
get with their rig.

Yeah i am still experimenting with it . But i plan on goind direct
instead of using it with an amp as it's less gear to lug to a gig. Do
you run it in the fron end of the hartke or through the effects loop
return using just th power amp sections of those amps.?
