You should definitely add weapons. There is a game out now similar to
this where you can use guns to kill the enemies as they get close.

It'd also be cool if you could implement street view so that if you
did add a gun it'd show the zombie on street view and as you raise
your weapon it cam put targets on them with areas you can shoot. It'd
be hard but it'd really MAKE this game.

Oh and throw random ammo caches around to get more ammo and make it
REALLY limited supplies.

But then you would only be able to use it on streets... you wouldn't be able to use it in a park, or in a field, or a forest, or even on streets that haven't been added to street view

Or back yards of neighbors? Because they're usually there for me

One useful augmented reality pattern I've seen is simply pointing the
phone in the right direction and tapping the screen. Russell Davies
showed off a 'barely' game - as he called it - at Playful09 where there
was no visible UI, it was all aural and directional. It was called SAP -
situated audio platform - and was immersive, but had no visuals to speak
of, just audio.

See for yourself:
http://www.cultofmac.com/an-audio-augmented-reality-game-id-like-to-play/21471

Watch the video - the weapon usage part is past the halfway mark IIRC.

(Russell Davies talk was excellent as a whole actually, and he's put it
up here - full of interesting ideas, images and videos :))

A much simpler way of doing this would be to use bullets as "extra
lives." If a zombie gets too close, you can use the gun button and it
will automatically kill the nearest zombie within a certain range, and
consume one bullet. Bullets would be scarce, necessitating that you
avoid zombies instead of plowing through them. Bullet scarcity could
be adjusted on the menu.

Different weapons could offer different ranges or different odds of
successfully hitting the zombie. Weapons acquired could either be
tracked across all games or cleared at the start of each.

Thats great and would make it the most famous mobilE game, but they
should cover most of every part of the planet to put even parks and
malls and beaches in the street mode, that would be exciting.

This isn't possible with current technology.

It would be kool if there were like "special items" around town. Maybe bullets or incorporate some kind of health system and have health scattered around your map. That would be cool

Does anyone think it would be possible to maybe have bluetooth integrated in so we can have a group of runners all registered individually on just 1 phone? That way some people can split up or make distractions plus it can give everyone they're own statistics
