Do you know about a valuable Borzoi resource? Use this thread to tell
the group about it.

In relation to Borzoi.cc:

Although my Borzoi Heritage site does not have the trial pedigree
option yet, my pedigrees are more extensive and in general have
fewer errors. Also I do have 46,000 pedigrees there.

In addition you do not have to have an account or a password to view the
Borzoi-Pedigree.info pedigrees.

I use both tools extensively as they have different components. I particularly like the COI% included in your site, would like to see an option for % blood as well to identify / hone in on particular ancestors. Most research I do is 10 generations or more, I wind up printing a LOT of pages and taping them, then getting out my highlighters and pens <gg> silly hobby I suppose but so very useful.

Lenore!  I do that, too!  My family thinks I am crazy, or maybe they know...... <gg>  I love to see commonalities and such.  I love to learn, though I do not retain it as much as I would like.

The account number for everyone is peds and the password is please and it
tells you that on the screen so it really isn't too difficult. Yours is
more complete for dogs of the past but not for more recent dogs like mine,
or Lynn's etc.

The Borzoi Heritage pages are in for a major update with a lot of recent
dogs added on. I have around 3000 new dogs. I am trying to decide if I
should post the update now, while there are still some problems with
the foreign letters or wait until I have fixed the foreign letter
problems.
