MOTHER'S DAY SUNDAY CLASSES MAY 10, 2026

• All Sunday classes will be held as scheduled.
• Jazz with Vivian and Beginning Ballet with Jen will take place at their regular times.

• Zohar is thrilled to have Claire back to teach her movement workshop! 

• Choreographer and Teaching Artist Claire Alexander returns to Zohar for a three-session series built around one idea: what happens when a room full of people makes something together in real time?

• Each session is its own complete world. Come to one, come to all three. One can sign up for them separately.
• Dates: Sundays - May 31, June 28, July 12

SUMMER DANCE INTENSIVE (SDI) June 15 - 19 TRANSFORMATION YOU WILL FEEL! AND, YES, ADULTS TAKE THIS INTENSIVE AS WELL 🙂

• Experience the transformation that happens when you train for five consecutive days. Consistent, focused work accelerates growth in ways that weekly classes simply can't. Throughout this intensive, dancers gain a depper understanding of how their bodies function, how they individually process and retain movement, and how to integrate corrections quickly and effectively.

• Times: MONDAY - WEDNESDAY, 10:30am - 5pm/ THURSDAY, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm/ FRIDAY, 10:30 am - 4:00pm

• This is for anyone 14 yo and up. All levels of dance welcomed.

• Dance Classes will consist of: Ballet, Jazz, Musical Theater Choreography, Tap, Luigi Technique, Contemporary, and Modern.

LUIGI TECHNIQUE TEACHER CERTIFICATION LEVEL 2

• Joey Doucette is back offering the official Luigi Technique Teacher Certification Program. The goal of the certification program is to preserve the jazz dance styles and techniques of the ones who actually created it and to keep Jazz dance technique true to its form. While this is a certification program, you may participate without the option to be certified.
• Dates: July 17, 18, 19
• Times: 1:30 p - 6:30 p

• You must have participated in the Luigi Technique Teacher Certification Level 1 prior to taking this Level 2 certification.

MINDBODY (MB) APP/LAPTOP

• If you are experiencing difficulty registering for a class, please just attend the class because the instructors can all add you to the class. The MB app does close down about 5 - 10 min before the class begins so our suggestion is to register prior to the closing of registration. 
• Feel free to email zohar with a detailed description of the issue, providing specific information allows us to better identify the problem and address it as efficiently as possible on our end. 
• Classes purchased through Mindbody with Zohar Dance are valid only for Zohar and cannot be transferred or applied to other studios, even if they also use Mindbody. 

LOST & FOUND PILE

• Please look through the lost & found pile in the green cabinet near the water dispenser. We will be removing everything on Wednesday, May 13th. 

CONGRATULATIONS TO PHOEBE LI

• High School Senior, Phoebe Li, has chosen to attend Manhattan School of Music in Musical Theater this Fall. We wish her the best and are excited to see what the future holds for her.
