Zohar Update 11.5.2025

Hello Zohar Community,

Tis the time of year where holidays are upon us and schedules are subject to change. When in doubt, please check the MindBody site for most current information. Please respond to the question below.

ZOHAR STUDIO FLOOR TAPING (THURSDAY, NOV. 6TH @ 12:00PM)

• As you know, we have to re-tape the floor every few months for maintenance. This supports the upkeep of our studio floor, ensuring a safe and comfortable space for all dancers and performers. Last time, we asked for help and an overwhelming group of students helped out and cut down the time from what can be up to 2 - 3 hours to less than an hour. 
• This Thursday, November 6th, we need help again to remove the tape and to put down new tape on the floor. Daynee is managing this alone as I am working on another Zohar project. It would be amazing if you can volunteer your time to help Daynee manage the floor. It will begin at 12:00pm (noon). If we have enough people, this can all be completed slightly less than an hour. Otherwise, it will take longer. Please contact Daynee at zohar...@gmail.com and let her know you can help her out. I, Vivian, would feel a lot better if she had help. Thank you.

ZOHAR PERFORMANCE SERIES #12, SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 8 AT 7:30PM

• Zohar presents its 12th Performance Series, a distinguished evening celebrating the depth, elegance, and range of dance. This program features choreographers and artists whose work embodies the diverse languages of movement, from contemporary and classical to cultural and exploratory forms. Experience an exquisite night of artistry that highlights the creative spirit and enduring vitality of our dance community.

• Doors open at 7:00pm

BALLET with CHARLES TORRES (WED., NOV. 26, 2025)

• Class is as scheduled for Wednesday, November 26 @ 10:30 a.m.
• Floor Barre is also being offered Wednesday, November 26 @ 10:00 a.m.

BALLET with AMRITA (WED, NOV. 26, 2025)

• Advanced/Beginning Ballet is CANCELLED for Wednesday, November 26 @ 6:00pm

BALLET with TRACY FULLER (FRI., NOV. 28, 2025)

• If you are interested in ballet class on Friday, November 28 @ 10:30am, please let me know by replying to this email with your name. We want to make sure there are enough people for the class to be scheduled. Tracy is available.

MODERN DANCE (SAT., NOV. 29)

• Class is as scheduled for Saturday, November 29 @ 9:15 am taught by Teresa Maldanado Marchok. 

JAZZ with DAYNEE (SAT., NOV. 29)

• Class is CANCELLED for Saturday, November 29 @ 11:15 am

JAZZ with VIVIAN (SUN., NOV. 30)

• Class is as scheduled for Sunday, November 30 @ 9:30 am

LOST AND FOUND PILE

• Lost & Found items will be tossed away this Friday, November 7th by noon. Please comb through what may be yours.
