Hello Zohar Community,

IMPORTANT NOTICE!!!
LAST CUBBERLEY CENTER COMMUNITY MEETING - SEPT. 17TH @ 6PM
  • This last meeting will be a discussion about building use and placement for various activities.
  • The future of dance at Cubberley Center depends on us. We urgently need dancers to attend tonight’s meeting to show that dance is an essential part of our community. The Cubberley planners must see and hear that dance matters in Palo Alto, and your presence will make that clear. Meeting: Tonight, 6:00–8:00 pm at Cubberley Pavilion
  • When you arrive: Spread out into different groups so dancers are seen throughout the room—not just clustered together. Sign in with your studio’s name so they know how many dance studios are represented.
  • This is a critical moment for the future of dance at Cubberley. Please make every effort to attend—we need your voice, your presence, and your support.
  • If you would like some information before the meeting, here is the link: https://www.paloalto.gov/Departments/Community-Services/Help-Us-Improve-Cubberley
ZTalk with KRISTINE ELLIOTT (ONE NIGHT ONLY!)

  • Discover the remarkable journey of a world-class artist, Kristine Elliott, who has inspired dancers on every stage and in every studio she's touched. Also, hear how she uses the power of dance to transform lives and expand opportunities for the next generation.
  • Our host, Jen Aubrecht, will be leading the conversation with Kristine. Jen has her Ph.D. in Critical Dance. Jen will be sharing photos she has researched from the New York City Performing Arts Library at Lincoln Center about Kristine's journey in with the American Ballet Theater (ABT).
  • This illuminating evenign with Kristine will trace her joourne to the stage, the experiences that shpaed her before ABT, and the many artists she has mentored to flourish in professional companies.

Have a great week!

With gratitude,
Vivian Sam & Daynee Lai-Krauss
