Temporary Fire Station No. 4 Now Open at Cubberley

We are pleased to share that the Temporary Fire Station No. 4 at Cubberley Community Center is now complete, and the Palo Alto Fire Department is scheduled to move in early this week. This temporary station will serve as the Fire Department’s home for up to the next two years, while construction is underway for the new station at 3600 Middlefield Road.

What to Expect at the Cubberley Site:

·         The station will house a fire truck and an ambulance.

·         It will operate 24/7, providing emergency services to the community.

Important Reminders for Tenants and Community:
 To ensure the safety and effective operations, the Fire Department kindly asks everyone on site to:

·         Be cautious of Fire Department activity on and around the premises.

·         Observe and follow all designated traffic markings and signage, which are essential for safe and timely emergency responses.

·         Always yield the right-of-way to emergency vehicles when they are entering, exiting, or maneuvering around the facility. Please follow any directions given by the crew if necessary.
