GENTLE REMINDER
Fragrance and Hygiene Etiquette in the Studio
To ensure a comfortable environment for everyone, we kindly ask that dancers refrain from wearing strong perfumes or colognes in the studio. Because of the close proximity and physical exertion involved in dance, heavy fragrances can become overwhelming and may cause discomfort for those with scent sensitivities.
Key Considerations:
Sensitivity to Scents: Heat and movement can intensify fragrances, making them more noticeable and sometimes unpleasant.
Overpowering Odors: Even one dancer’s strong perfume or cologne can dominate the studio atmosphere.
Hygiene Matters: Fresh clothes, deodorant, and good oral hygiene are essential for maintaining studio etiquette, but they should not be replaced with excessive fragrance.
Moderation is Key: If you choose to wear a scent, please use it sparingly and opt for something light and neutral.
Thank you for helping us maintain a welcoming and considerate space for all dancers.
