Hello Zohar Community,

FLOOR BARRE with CHARLES TORRES
  • Don't forget that Charles is teaching his Floor Barre on Wednesdays from 10:00am - 10:30am. (currently no fee; come and try it out, you will be amazed)
  • What is Rommett Floor Barre: Charles is a certified instructor of this method. As we age there is increased wear and tear from years of weight on the skeleton, muscles and joints. Without the pressure of gravity, Floor-Barre™ corrects alignment, lengthens the joins and muscles. Floor-Barre™ takes a holistic approach to help with numerous issues such as arthritis (knees), tendonitis and back pain, while improving balance, posture and mobility. https://floorbarre.org/
BALLET with KRISTINE
  • Kristine is back from South Africa and will begin teaching her regular schedule beginning tonight, Wednesday @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
  • Welcome back Kristine and a huge thank you to: Augusto Silva, Brooke Wertwijn, and Anton Pankevitch for filling in. Your professionalism and expertise is very much appreciated.
BEGINNING BALLET with AUGUSTO SILVA
  • Very exciting news as Augusto will be starting up the Beginning Ballet class Sunday, August 3rd @ 11:30am - 1:00pm. That is THIS Sunday!!!
  • Why Beginning Ballet matters: Beginning ballet is more than just an introduction to dance—it's the cornerstone of all dance training. It builds a strong technical foundation, sharpens body awareness, and instills the discipline and focus essential for progress in any dance style. Physically, it enhances strength, flexibility, posture, and coordination. Mentally and emotionally, it nurtures perseverance, confidence, and self-expression.
  • Beyond the studio, ballet creates a sense of community, offering a supportive environment where dancers grow together, celebrate progress, and develop lifelong friendships. Whether you're pursuing dance professionally or simply exploring a new passion, beginning ballet is a powerful first step.

GUEST ARTIST/TEACHER: ISABEL HARDING (AUGUST 5th & 9th)

  • We’re excited to welcome back Zohar alum Isabel Harding, who is visiting from New York City! Many of you may remember seeing Isabel train right here at Zohar—she has since earned her BFA in Dance Performance and BA in Drama, and is now actively pursuing a professional career in dance and musical theater in NYC.
  • Isabel will be teaching at Zohar on Tuesday, August 5 (Theater Jazz) and Saturday, August 9 (Precision Jazz...Rockette movement) . Please note: the August 9 class is not suitable for beginners. Character shoes are recommended but not required.

  • We are incredibly proud of Isabel’s accomplishments and thrilled to have her share her artistry and experience with our community. Don’t miss this special opportunity to train with a Zohar-grown professional!
