Mobile Layout

Forgive me if this has been asked already but searching the forum didn't return any results for "mobile."  

I know you say that the layout works well on tablets.  I think it has the potential to be ok on a tablet but primarily in landscape mode if it's a small tablet.  

But it's the same layout regardless.  Is there any way to configure or customize the application framework such that it provides a different layout for a phone?  I think it would work well for my web app but I'd like the site to at least come up with something appropriate for mobile users to direct them to my mobile app without having to zoom the page and scroll back and forth on it.  Even in landscape on a fairly large phone (Note 4), it's hard to use.

I'm willing to put the work in but don't want to go down that route if it's a major rework.  Many of the layout samples at primefaces.org using PrimeUI do this and it would be a nice option to have on top of the framework that you provide.
