Hi fellows! : )
Please take a look at this doc.
https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AtfMr9Mr7HSJdFVYeV9KeHBQbDdXSEpCLTRYYkY3dHc&authkey=CKvOzLoB&hl=en_GB#gid=0

First, for all Language Teams:
This is a google doc spreadsheet  from where we will develop the English Glossary which will serve as a reference for all other language teams.
Each language team participates into building this document by presenting terms (column A) to which you need help defining and finding synonyms that will help you on the translations works. Context (column B) and Resource Link (column C) would greatly complement and help ; )

It seems ideal that each language team creates a copy out of this document and name it "your language Glossary", where you would update the developments on the English Glossary and fill in the column G "Translation". : ) This suggestion for a google spreadsheet is because it is very user friendly; meaning easy to update by anyone : )
If you prefer other structures, please share it with us : ) Formats and compatibility is something to consider in the Global LT structure future developments ; )

Remember that the message content we are transcribing and translating is oriented to a paradigm shift and the redesign of society from the ground up as never done before. And so to define well our terms is to define well our future and make sure everyone who must participate understands it as we do ; ) Your input is precious here!

For the English Team:
It would be great if each of us would put our eyes on this and, surely in an automatized way, considerations and suggestions will rise and can (and should be) shared upon the best ways to define this or that term, find synonyms and identify the "part of speech" to which it corresponds.
Di suggested, and I agree, that we do this through the group mail. No gatherings necessary. If each definition/synonyms/links on the notes that we add to the table, we simply share them on this email thread (without the zm-lingui...@googlegroups.com, or they will discover we are nuts and it will become very hard to gain their trust again)... it will be like a snowball team work and soon the glossary will be complete (never really complete since it is an ongoing process, but I think you get what I mean : ).
How does that sound to you?

love you all!

Fantastic, my dear Nomada,
This morning I must administer an English language state test to students at my school. Ugh.... I'm not at all sure how well they will do, but our Eng. Team would pass it "no sweat." :-)

After that, I will get to work on this spreadsheet and hang in there until it's a done deal.
Much love to you for all you do to bring us together as ONE WORLD!--'cause we are!
((hugs)) from me---  :Di

Hi, Eng Dept LT,
I have edited the English Glossary by adding the Parts of Speech/Usages and some definitions and synonyms.  Because we want this to be a truly helpful doc, I really need those who CAN to supply the "contexts" and "resource links".  So if you CAN  :-) , please pop them in there.  Then we can all review the terms carefully to determine if our definitions and usages and synonyms are as close as possible to the ZM concepts.  Our fantastic translators need to understand these terms before they translate them properly to other languages.

Also, if you see anything in the Glossary you would like to question or edit, please don't hesitate to ask.  Good team discussion will help our English Glossary to be the best it can be!  ---Which is just what we want, right?

I love you guys!
