Arabic Ling team - long overdue progress report

Hello Everyone,

I'm Salma Co-coordinator of the Arabic Linguistic Team along with
Malak.
My current coordinator status so to say is (Barely Active) :) which I
really apologize for.
unfortunately due to many many reasons I can't be online as much as I
want to.

I'll check with Malak and the team to see if another member is willing
to take my place, and i'll fill him/her in with all I know and
hopefully all that's needed.
I will try to keep updated and will continue to help as much as I
can.

The repository is long due to be updated with our translated videos
obviously!

Hi Salma! Thank you for updating the basic information concerning the Arabic team, despite that you are so busy and having a hard time to keep it up : ) This is enough for now for us to update the repository and help your team in anything we can. I have a suggestion: if both you and Malak are too busy to handle everything in the Arabic team, consider that some teams have 3 coordinators. They can not possibly be on the internet most of the time, but the 3 of them end up filling in all the gaps : ) One possibility is to split areas of action. Does any other team reading this has any advise/example on this? One last subject that might inspire you, if you are not still aware of it: There is a new forum which configuration might allow us to do several things all in the same location: working locations, progress report, communications... making it much easier for 1 or 2 persons to handle everything. I would also recommend having more coordinators, we have 4 on the spanish ling team, myself and my three Musketeers! It makes it sooooo much easier when you have more hands collaborating. It's an option to have each one taking care of a certain aspect or everyone can just do things when they are needed. The important thing, and it's VERY important, is that there is good fluent and fluid communication between all of you.

Hi Salma,
Do you expect this to be a temporary issue or will these reasons prevent you
from ever being able to have more play time with the team? If it's only
temporary, consider seeking out someone to come in as a co-coordinator to
help pick up the slack, instead of replacing you entirely.

I've taken a peek at the team's progress and I'm amazed at what you have all
been able to accomplish in such a relatively short amount of time. The Repo
& YouTube locations will be happy to receive all of these, too.
