Overlapping items in the legend

I'm not sure why, but on a particular graph the items in my legend are
overlapping. I have a couple of chart.add(:series...) lines that seem
to work everywhere else and correctly display the legend, but these
are overlapping. I read in the documentation that the height of the
containing box will adjust automatically. Plus, the containing box is
definitely large enough for the 4 lines in the legend -- I've seen it
work fine elsewhere. Any idea?s
