When I plug in my second display port cable for 4k 120hz, my screen goes to not showing the full 4k display and having black bars at the sides. Any idea what it could be? Just started today. Thanks everyone.

Secondary DP input is active but not received properly by the fpga.  This could be for a few reasons: (list is for R2 kits which you have)
1) DP cable is borderline functional (zws boards are kind of picky about DP cables).  Try swapping cables between primary and secondary and seeing if the problem follows the cable.
2) DP connection is not good.  You can try squirting some alcohol into the dp connector, plugging in cable and wiggling it around.
3) Something happened to the DP chip.  Rare but has happened before.

Contact directly (email) and we can set up a vidocall to further diagnose if its not fixed by #1 or #2.

Thanks,
zis

I am also running into this as well.  Worked fine for a year but not it's suddenly giving me black bars (on 4k 120hz only).  Did you ever find the issue/resolve this?

I had a call with Zis and we did some troubleshooting. After a bit of swapping around of the cables and unplugging and repluging the power, it started to with again. That being said, it has happened again and Zis did say that it would probably happen again if it has happened once. Which means that probably one of the chips on a board is degrading. I well be going through all the swapping of cables and such again to see if it persists. I know this isn't much help.

I would say email Zis directly to talk to him about this specific problem. Since that is what he asked me to do, if I already went through the steroids offered.
