In the last couple  of months, I've had a lot of reports of dual input suddenly stopping working.  There have been some occasional instances of dp chips failing, but having a bunch of reports so close in time was unusual.

One user (thanks Nick!) reported that the issue occurred after a driver update and that later updating to 456.38 resolved the issue.  I was skeptical because the problem presented in the same way as a failed DP chip, but another user today indicated that they had problems starting with a ~452.xx driver and the issue was resolved after updating to 456.55.

In short, if you have issues with dual input, try nv driver 456.38 or newer.

Curious to hear feedback on this.  Don't have an explanation or a pass/fail comparison on different driver versions.

I'm still having issues on latest NVIDIA Driver. Will cut out randomly with 2 black bars every hour or so and has to reset to look normal. Getting a new error I have not seen before. Something along the lines of "frame-rate under minimum" where it cuts off the screen as well and is consistent enough to be very annoying. Hard to play games/watch movies.

Hi everyone! I am ready to make a donation in the right size so that 1080p-480Hz can be developed. Please pass it on to the developer, as I am from another country and do not know English well. My name is Aset, I am the owner of a network of computer clubs in Kazakhstan
