Anyone have any advice on this? I always seem to get it when I am running in 4K120 mode so ive legit abandoned it over the years. Usually its just on the left hand side of my X39 panel, and not the right. Its enough to drive me crazy. Ive tried swapping out cables and such but to no avail.

Does anyone have maybe a specific cable that they run to help fix this issue? Or is it just my unit dying a slow death/overheating or something to that effect.

Thanks.

Is it different in a 1/4 or 1/12 size (fraction of the screen) column? If so, this is panel lottery. Try the reduced blanking timings or run it a tad slower. 39" panels are a little worse than 28". I can help you test this.

Seems that around 90% of older 28" and around 70% of 39" were capable of perfect 4k120hz.

Newer 28" (like u28h750) are much more reliable oc.

Yeah usually about the left third I’d say. So panel lottery for sure. I can’t edit the refresh rate at 4K, though. I just realized it also does this at 240hz 1080p, but I was able to edit that to 200HZ quite some time ago.

Is there any way to somehow create a "new" EDID to make it run at say 110HZ rather than 120HZ at 4k?

I can't seem to find any way to make this striping go away at 120HZ 4K in Nvidia or CRU.

Thanks!

What I did to fix my horizontal artifact on 360hz was I changed the resolution a little bit from 1280x720 to something like 1280x718 using CRU.
