screen res in GLQuake1?

G,day

Can someone please tell me how to change my screen resolution from the
default 640x480 in GL Quake...say to 800x600 or 1024x768.

I,ve read the readme in glquake but I just can't get it to change.

Also, when I do get it to change, do I have to re-enter width etc. every
time I start a new game?

create a shortcut off the exec and
modify the command line.

example;

C:\quake\glquake.exe -width 1024 -bpp 16

substitute whatever folder your quake exe is in
and the width and bpp off your choice.
off course your video card must be capable
off running at the chosen res.

Run glquake.exe -width 800
or glquake.exe -width 1024

There's no dynamic resolution change in glQuake.

Does anyone know how to change the gamma to an acceptable level while
you're at it?
