voodoo2 & banshee

I've got two voodoo2 (sli) and I was thinking about getting a new primary
card...probably a Banshee AGP. I only have a 2mb s3 Trio PCI at the moment.

What I was wondering is when I launch a 3d game...Quake, Colin McCrae etc.
will the game use the v2 sli or the banshee??

I asume the two voodoo's would out perform a banshee, so using them would be
the go...right???

I had that same set up (2 voodoo2's and a crappy vid card), and
decided to put a Banshee in it. I found out that some games gave you
the option to use either card, and others would automatically detect
one or the other. I also found out that I wasted my money on a Banshee,
because I didn't see any performance boost... anywhere. Presently,
the Banshee is sitting in my brother's computer, and I sold my two
voodoo2's to get a TNT2 (which replaced the crappy video card I had to
begin with). Now I miss playing a few of my glide games, but other than
that I'm very happy with the way things turned out.

I doubt if you even read this but i have banshee + 2 voodoo2

i use a program called glide switcher which is available at 3 fingers
workshop.

Man, why put a banshee in it?

waste of money as it wont increase your 3d output.

Best solution is to put a TNT card in there. As this card has good 2d/3d &
better quality graphics. This way you can switch between the cards depending
on what the game supports & which runs faster/better.

Alternatively just get a good 2d card & save your coins for something else

Hmmm....I have an agp 16mg Dimond fusion "in now" and a CL V2 sittin on a
shelf.Could i put theese togeather with that switcher you mentioned?And
would it boost anything for me ya think? THNX
