CONTRACTS

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Tennier Industries, Inc., Pomona, N.Y., is being awarded a $12,527,729
firm fixed price contract for ECWCS trousers. One proposal was
solicited and one was received. Work will be performed in Sunbright,
Tenn., and Huntsville, Tenn., and is expected to be completed by
November 1998. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year.
The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the
contracting activity (SPO100- 97-C-5044).

ARMY

Alliant Techsystems, Toone, Tenn., is being awarded a $7,273,170
firm-fixed-price contract for the purchase of 633,000 M206 flares.
Work will be performed in Toone, Tenn., and is expected to be
completed by Dec. 4, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end
of the current fiscal year. There were three bids solicited on May 27,
1997, and three bids were received. The contracting activity is the
U.S. Army Armament, Munitions & Chemical Command, Rock Island, Ill.
(DAAA09-97-C-0115).

Tracor Aerospace Inc., San Ramon, Calif., is being awarded a
$5,283,440 firm-fixed-price contract for the purchase of 422,000 M206
flares. Work will be performed in East Camden, Ark., and is expected
to be completed by March 5, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. There were three bids solicited on
May 27, 1997, and three bids were received. The contracting activity
is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions & Chemical Command, Rock Island,
Ill. (DAAA09-97-C-0116).

BMAR and Associates Inc.*, Hopkinsville, Ky., is being awarded an
amount not-to-exceed $4,500,000 as part of a not-to-exceed $13,500,000
firm-fixed-price indefinite quantity contract for the renovation and
minor construction of medical facilities at six U.S. Air Force bases.
Work will be performed at Columbus Air Force Base, Columbus, Miss.
(10%); Maxwell Air Force Base, Montgomery, Ala. (10%); Eglin Air Force
Base, Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. (20%);

MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, Fla. (20%); Tyndall Air Force Base,
Panama City, Fla. (20%); and Patrick Air Force Base, Cocoa Beach, Fla.
(20%), and is expected to be completed by July 27, 2000. Contract
funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There
were 47 bids solicited on March 17, 1997, and six bids were received.
The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile,
Ala. (DACA01-97-D-0025).

Bill Harbert Construction Co., Birmingham, Ala., is being awarded
$90,000 as part of a not-to-exceed $13,500,000 indefinite
delivery/indefinite quantity construction contract for installation
support, to include minor construction, repair, renovation, and
incidental design capabilities. Work will be performed at Fort Rucker,
Ala., and is for a base year plus option years one and two, with an
expected completion date of July 27, 1998. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 68 bids
solicited on March 26, 1997, and four bids were received. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile, Ala.
(DACA01-97-D-0033).

Miller R.A. Industries Inc., Grand Haven, Mich., is being awarded a
$5,654,676 firm-fixed-price contract for Single Channel Ground and
Airborne System (SINCGARS): 24,546 AS3900A/VRC antennae, 5,315 antenna
elements, 6,020 antenna elements, and 3,092 base antenna supports.
Work will be performed in Grand Haven, Mich., and is expected to be
completed by Sept. 30, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end
of the current fiscal year. There were 19 bids solicited on April 15,
1997, and seven bids were received. The contracting activity is the
U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command, Ft. Monmouth, N.J.
(DAAB07-97-C-C257).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Multiplex Inc., Summersville, W.Va., is being awarded a $6,226,800
firm-fixed-price construction contract to build a new 500-bed housing
unit. Work will be performed at the Federal Prison Camp for Women,
Alderson, W.Va., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 30, 1998.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
There were 110 bids solicited on May 2, 1997, and nine bids were
received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers, Huntington, W.Va. (DACW69-97-C-0015).

R E T R A C T I O N

Contract DACA63-97-C-0045, announced July 25, 1997 as being awarded to
J. T. Construction Co. Inc., is hereby retracted.

_NAVY_

Boro Developers, Inc., King of Prussia, Pa., is being awarded a
$6,518,795 modification to previously awarded contract
N62472-96-C-0002 to exercise options for the Defense Logistics Agency
Inventory Control Point relocation to Naval Inventory Control Point
(NAVICP) in Philadelphia, Pa. The potential total contract amount is
not to exceed $20,918,287. Work will be performed in Philadelphia,
Pa., and is expected to be completed by May 1999. Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Facilities
Engineering Command, Northern Division, Lester, Pa., is the
contracting activity.
