CONTRACTS

ARMY

SEEMA Inc., Hampton, Va., is being awarded a $5,562,000
firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a dining hall/troop
issue warehouse of approximately 27,000 sq. feet. The project will
include a new dining facility with masonry exterior and standing-seam
metal roof and a troop issue area, with chilled and non-perishable
storage, a linen exchange area, and a postal service center, and
includes supporting utilities and site improvements. Work will be
performed at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., and is expected to
be completed by Feb. 28, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the
end of the current fiscal year. There were 79 bids solicited on Jan.
9, 1997, and seven bids were received. The contracting activity is the
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah, Ga. (DACA21-97-C-0057).

Hughes Aircraft Co., Sensors & Communications Systems, El Segundo,
Calif., is being awarded a $360,000 increment as part of a $9,000,000
time and materials contract for services and supplies for the Enhanced
Position Location System (EPLRS), depot level, and other logistics
support of EPLRS and Situation Awareness Data Link (SADL) during
development, testing, training, fielding and integration for 36
months. Work will be performed in El Segundo, Calif. (85%) and Long
Beach, Calif. (15%), and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 1999.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
This is a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 13, 1997. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics
Command, Ft. Monmouth, N.J. (DAAB07-93-G-C855).

NAVY

Digital System Resources Inc.,* Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a
$6,704,386 modification to previously awarded contract
N00024-96-C-5411 for Modeling and Simulation Studies and Systems
Definitization for the Theater Air Defense Advanced Distributed
Simulation Open Architecture & Modeling and Simulation Facility. Work
will be performed in Arlington, Va., and is expected to be completed
by December 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is
the contracting activity.

McDonnell Douglas Corp., McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, St. Louis, Mo.,
is being awarded a $20,873,816 cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order
against a basic ordering agreement for engineering support for the
Conformal Antenna Integration Phase II effort for the F/A-18 C/D and
E/F aircraft. Work will be performed St. Louis, Mo., and is expected
to be completed by December 2000. Contract funds would not have
expired at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not
competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Va.,
is the contracting activity (N00019-94-G-0291).
