First of all, thanks for the great backup script. I've been running
it for a month or so now and it seems to work great. There's one
problem. Every day I get an email from cron that says, "tar: Removing
leading `/' from member names". Is there something I should change in
the script to avoid this error?

I think I found the answer here -

http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-general-1/bintar-removing-leading-from-member-names-269508/

I will have to see if I can duplicate the error on a test system somewhere and let you know what I find.  I think I see the error and I will let you know once I can get a fix into place.  There are some small bugs in the system that need to be fixed.  It will work OK, but there needs to be a better workflow to save bandwidth.

I will let you know soon.

Cheers,
