I had the dialog box (the one that pops up asking if you want to open or save) checkmarked "do with all similar files" (or whatever the veribage is).  I downloaded a ZIP that I didn't want it to unzip because I was going to upload it to a website. I told it to save it but I forgot I had that checkmarked & now I can't get the dialog box back so I can fix it (I want it to automatically unzip WITHOUT saving the unzipped file). I accidentally did that before but can't remember how I got it back. I tried uninstalling & reinstalling but that didn't work : (. Thanks :)

Look at Preferences (Mac) or Settings (Windows) - there is an option to bring back all the prompts.

OK I went to that & tried to download again & still won't give me the box. I even rebooted inbetween. Oh well! I'll have to deal with it :) Thanks <3

I'm fixed! I had to go into Firefox to fix it! Under Options --------> Applications & change it from save to always ask

I had a few things I would unzip from an email & automatically unzip without saving. Then the other day when I was opening one I noticed the direction to change it under Options & now I'm fixed :)
