Hello,
I am trying to install Zipeg on my computer, but the installer from the main page of the website is being flagged by internet explorer as "The signature of this program is corrupt or invalid". If I ignore Internet Explorer's warning Kaspersky is then warning me that "A legal program that can be used by crimanls to damage your computer or personal data is starting: Zipeg Archive Explorer without a digital signature.

Is it possible to have the application re-published with a valid signature?

Please advise.
Thanks
Chris

I think Kaspersky is over paranoid (which is good thing).
Zipeg.exe is self signed application and CDN is hosted there:
I've scanned it with several online virus/malware scanners right now and it looks kosher to me:

Let me know if you find online scanner which reports any issues (apart from self-signed certificate) with Zipeg.exe or Zipeg.app

Thanks for heads up

PS: Kaspersky does not do online scan and there is no way I am installing the biggest security treat on my system.
After all, by definition any antivirus have to drill multiple security holes in my system to scan my executables and Kaspersky is not an open source thus I cannot trust it.

Hi,

We have received the file you have sent zipeg_win.exe with md5 882A9B56A23AEE87E7B211635B571F4D via http://www.zipeg.net/downloads/zipeg_win.exe and have verified based on our initial quick analysis that it did not perform any noticeable Trojan/malware like behavior.
The file was tested to be an installation for archiving utility requiring Java Runtime components.
If you have any further concerns please do send us a mail and we will immediately assist you.
