I construct and edit my ebook and click the 'update preview' button.  The 'making your ebook' completes to 100% but no preview appears.  The load bar at the top stops about 2/3 of the way across and no image of the ebook is displayed.  Please help, I signed up for the pro edition but it's obviously not working.  Thanks

Note: I am adding these comments from a previous user post for the benefit of everyone.

If the preview does not complete successfully then it means that one or more stories in the eBook have suspect HTML coding and cannot be properly decoded.

In such case you need to remove the offending story(s) in order to complete the preview. You can do this in the "customize" section where you can also add in (and edit) the other stories later.

If the progress bar is stuck on a particular story and not moving further then you can only recover from this state as follows:

The solution is to go directly to this URL to customize the eBook that is being created:
On that page you can remove stories that are causing problems.

I've got a similar problem, my progress bar is stuck now at 90% but each time I try and go to the zinepal homepage and try to click the preview button again, it starts loading and the bar often manages to make some more progress. For example, the bar has been at 85% all nigh, stuck on a certain article. This morning I pressed the preview button again from the zinepal home and after some time it proceeded to 90%. And changed article.
Therefore, there's no offending article, I already edited every article after all. What's happening, why is it so hard for the progress bar to reach 100%?
