Hey babies, 

So the East Bay Alternative Book and Zine Fest is December 8th - we can make a sign-up schedule for those interested in working at our table during the event, so let us know in the next class if that's something you're interested in. And of course you are welcome to sell all things zine- and art-related at our table, so start prepping for that! For our last class, Dec. 4, we ask that you bring in one copy of your zine for us and one for each classmate for a zine swap (there are 9 of you). It will be a fun zine celebratory party. 

Our next class will also take place in the print studio, 265 Kroeber, like last week. We're gonna give a basic screen printing and stenciling demo, so if you have anything you would like to stencil and material you would like to stencil on please bring stuff in! We'll also be working on the final zine for half of the class.

For your homework for the final zine please pick out a picture from the Fiat Lux collection to respond to in some way for whatever reason you are drawn to it. Start thinking of ideas for pages or drawings or poems or associations or collages or stories that you might use and bring in at least five thumbnails of those ideas to share and develop.
