Hey zinethusiasts,
This week we're asking you to bring all of your questions about editing, layout, reproducing, and binding - basically what to do now that you've got your beautiful zine - to class.
We can also show basic use of Photoshop for editing and InDesign for layout so if you want to know about this and have these programs bring your computer and have any files you want to edit, etc, already scanned. There should be scanners at any of the computer labs on campus if you don't have access already. Make sure you've got your zine amended and ready to go, and also come with your ideas about the final zine!
ALSO, for copying/printing your zines, if you want to use the Open Computing Facility (located in the lab at Hearst Gym), you must first create an account on their website, so go to
wiki.ocf.berkeley.edu/getting-an-account. This will get you 250 FREE COPIES!!! Very cool if you partake in the scanning/editing way of laying out your zine but do it ahead of time so you can actually have access to the computer lab! We'll talk about this in class but the sign up process takes about 1 minute so DO IT!
See you tomorrow! Happy life!
