ZET approached ZAA to have a possibility of become a partner
Mr Mkandla explained the position of ZET and were its going
Conrad acknowledged the vision and preliminary talks and agreed In
principle to
work on the partnership
ZAA agrees to support the fundraising strategy of ZET
ZAA pledges to help raise 2.5k a year through 2 platforms
1. Fundraising at the annual ZAA Dinner Gala through raffles, auctions
etc
target £500
2. By organising a tribute Dinner as an extension of Mr Mkandla's ZAA
lifetime
achievement award, this event would be held in Leeds and attended by
alumni
students, community leaders, friends and supporters, the plan is to
also invite
the Zimbabwean Ambassador to UK, Leeds Mayor, Leeds MP as guest
speakers
the event is proposed for November 2013 hosted by ZAA
Conrad suggested that ZET go ahead and make contact with UK based
Zimbabwean
business for help with donations, Conrad will follow up with support to
the
businesses
