.NET Framework version

According to http://support.microsoft.com/KB/906894, to resolve the MS .NET Framework 2.0 installation problem, uninstall the .NET Framework 2.0 with any Service Pack before you install the .NET Framework 2.0 - right? I seem to have many Framework versions, see attachment.
The zigGIS application I understood not to be based on e.g. the latest version 4 of the Microsoft .NET Framework but will continue to run on the version 2.0 targeted by default. Any problem elsewhere, then, if I get rid of the Service Packs?

shouldn't have a problem if you're running .Net 4.
