Dear friends,
Vesele Vanoce a stastny novy rok! We remember wonderful Christmas moments with many of you in your homes, at concerts, in schools, in churches, on the square—and treasure each memory and each of you.
A little news: Mike is now retired, and I am teaching and working with adult students at the university (love it). Son Cory and Kate were married in December 2011 and daughter Jess and her husband live in Washington DC area with daughter Zoe, now almost 7. Ami and Chris and their two nearly-grown children are still in California. My mom now has a pacemaker but is doing well for her 90 years.
In 2013 we will make plans and begin to celebrate our many years of Rice Lake-Zamberk sister city partnership. We have so much to be grateful for--thank you for opening doors to our long-lasting friendships. You are part of my/our heart(s)—always.
