Francesca further reports that she and Paolo yielded to their love when reading the story of the adultery between Lancelot and Guinevere in the Old French romance Lancelot du Lac. Francesca says, "Galeotto fu 'l libro e chi lo scrisse".[42] The word "Galeotto" means "pander" but is also the Italian term for Gallehaut, who acted as an intermediary between Lancelot and Guinevere, encouraging them on to love. John Ciardi renders line 137 as "That book, and he who wrote it, was a pander."[43] Inspired by Dante, author Giovanni Boccaccio invoked the name Prencipe Galeotto in the alternative title to The Decameron, a 14th-century collection of novellas. Ultimately, Francesca never makes a full confession to Dante. Rather than admit to her and Paolo's sins, the very reasons they reside in this circle of hell, she consistently takes an erroneously passive role in the adulterous affair. The English poet John Keats, in his sonnet "On a Dream", imagines what Dante does not give us, the point of view of Paolo:

... But to that second circle of sad hell,
Where 'mid the gust, the whirlwind, and the flaw
Of rain and hail-stones, lovers need not tell
Their sorrows. Pale were the sweet lips I saw,
Pale were the lips I kiss'd, and fair the form
I floated with, about that melancholy storm.[44]

Ring 1: Against Neighbors: In the first round of the seventh circle, the murderers, war-makers, plunderers, and tyrants are immersed in Phlegethon, a river of boiling blood and fire. Ciardi writes, "as they wallowed in blood during their lives, so they are immersed in the boiling blood forever, each according to the degree of his guilt".[69] The Centaurs, commanded by Chiron and Pholus, patrol the ring, shooting arrows into any sinners who emerge higher out of the boiling blood than each is allowed. The centaur Nessus guides the poets along Phlegethon and points out Alexander the Great (disputed), "Dionysius" (either Dionysius I or Dionysius II, or both; they were bloodthirsty, unpopular tyrants of Sicily), Ezzelino III da Romano (the cruelest of the Ghibelline tyrants), Obizzo d'Este, and Guy de Montfort. The river grows shallower until it reaches a ford, after which it comes full circle back to the deeper part where Dante and Virgil first approached it; immersed here are tyrants including Attila, King of the Huns (flagello in terra, "scourge on earth", line 134), "Pyrrhus" (either the bloodthirsty son of Achilles or King Pyrrhus of Epirus), Sextus, Rinier da Corneto, and Rinier Pazzo. After bringing Dante and Virgil to the shallow ford, Nessus leaves them to return to his post. This passage may have been influenced by the early medieval Visio Karoli Grossi.[nb 3]

Canto XXXII
At the base of the well, Dante finds himself within a large frozen lake: Cocytus, the Ninth Circle of Hell. Trapped in the ice, each according to his guilt, are punished sinners guilty of treachery against those with whom they had special relationships. The lake of ice is divided into four concentric rings (or "rounds") of traitors corresponding, in order of seriousness, to betrayal of family ties, betrayal of community ties, betrayal of guests, and betrayal of lords. This is in contrast to the popular image of Hell as fiery; as Ciardi writes, "The treacheries of these souls were denials of love (which is God) and of all human warmth. Only the remorseless dead center of the ice will serve to express their natures. As they denied God's love, so are they furthest removed from the light and warmth of His Sun. As they denied all human ties, so are they bound only by the unyielding ice."[103] This final, deepest level of hell is reserved for traitors, betrayers and oathbreakers (its most famous inmate is Judas Iscariot).

And if you like angsty fanfiction where a character cheats on the other, there are literally no fanfics where Elsa cheats on Jack. As if a woman couldn't possibly cheat. This is very sexist towards men and women and is toxic as hell.

First of all, I want to say that I appreciate your passion for expressing your opinion, but I have to respectfully disagree with your argument against Jelsa. You start off by saying that you have nothing against the ship and that you're not trying to convince people to be anti, but your entire post comes across as extremely anti-Jelsa. You even go so far as to say that you "loathe" the ship, rather than simply not being a fan. You then go on to say that the excuses for shipping Jelsa are pointless, but I have to disagree. While some of the excuses may not be the strongest arguments, they are still valid reasons that some fans may ship the characters. And ultimately, shipping is a personal preference, not something that needs to be justified with concrete evidence. Furthermore, you dismiss the idea that Jack could teach Elsa to have fun and Elsa could teach Jack to be serious, claiming that Anna already fulfills that role for Elsa. But just because Anna helps Elsa come out of her shell doesn't mean that Jack couldn't also play a role in her life. And as for Jack being serious in battle, that doesn't mean he can't also be playful and carefree at other times. You also argue that Jack and Elsa wouldn't understand each other because they were isolated for different reasons and lengths of time, but I think that shared feelings of loneliness and isolation can bring people closer together, even if their experiences weren't identical. You then go on to claim that Jelsa has had a negative impact on the "big four" fandom, but I don't see how that's true. It's just one ship amongst many and people are entitled to ship whatever they like without it affecting others. Finally, you accuse Jelsashippers of being uncreative and doing horrible and stupid things, but that's just a baseless generalization. Every fandom has its bad apples, but that doesn't mean the entire fandom should be judged by their actions. Overall, I think your argument against Jelsa is flawed and based on personal biases rather than objective analysis. It's fine that you don't like the ship, but insulting and dismissing the opinions of others is unnecessary and unproductive.

Bets: Juvia. Their water powers can seemingly counter each other to no end, but the main reasons Juvia wins are 1) She takes the stat trio, 2) I don't think Katara has any counters to Juvia's Water Lock, and 3) Juvia can negate Katara's bloodbending thanks to her Water Body. Though Katara would certainly put up one hell of a fight.

Bets: Obito. Vader may be slightly stronger and tougher, but Obito is a lot faster and out-haxxes the absolute hell out of him. And apparently some of Legends' feats got nerfed or debunked, like how the Jedi that threw the Star Destroyers out of orbit got amped big time, or how the one that held the planet together died because of it, so I guess that doesn't help in Vader's favor (But yes, I still think Obi-Wan beats Kakashi).

Why I prefer this over other matchups: Come on, who the hell else are these guys gonna fight? I guess Vader could also fight Sasuke as Anakin and I suppose Obito could also fight Zeref, but why would they pass up a matchup as thematic as this?

Bets: Iceman. Firestorm's matter manipulation and potential universe-busting power would prove to be troublesome, but Iceman can get past that through being stronger (Froze hell without breaking a sweat), much faster (He's apparently pseudo-omnipresent thanks to being able to travel through water molecules in the air), and having stronger ice than Firestorm's fire (His ice can restrain foes like Thor, Hulk, and even Juggernaut).

Connections: They made a deal with a demon for the sake of family, but they were tricked into becoming hellish beings bonded to another living being (Letha and Zarathos respectively), but they still decided to fight evil as badass anti-heroes.

Why I prefer this over other matchups: Alucard VS Blade has decent connections, but come on, Blade doesn't have a chance in hell. Alucard VS Raven also makes sense, but Raven has Sailor Saturn. And Dante doesn't really have anyone else that I know of, especially since Hellboy has Nero.

Why I prefer this over other matchups: Besides this and a Tails rematch, Luigi doesn't really have any other options (Robin is a big no-no). Pac-Man has a few other matchups (Danny Phantom, Yusuke, and Toriko), but he stomps all of them to hell and back, and Luigi's the only one that could give Pacster an actual fight.

Rabidgames laments: Shame. Great potential, but the self-inflicted controversy about censorship, the unfinished state and the incredibly boring gameplay ruin this vacation to the depths of hell. A hell where you suffer the shortcomings of the game more than you suffer hell itself. Or to sum it up: The name says it all.

The Story: A pirate (father/grandfather of the protagonists of AC3) turns Templar turns Assassin (and stays there). The story actually spans 3 different times, and present day is narrated from the eyes of an Abstergo employee. Juno says hello, and the Sages are introduced.

Why the hell would speed matter? You have failed to prove Pikachu even has the strength and power to harm space Godzilla. The strongest we have ever seen of pikachu was when he blew up an entire pokemon center, and that was with help.

Iron tail at its strongest could not even cause actual death or serious or fatal injury, hell even ash has tanked iron tail before, and he is still just a human.
Now imagine space godzilla, someone who towers above pikachu indefinitely, who has a regenerative ability. and has probably stepped on more metal and steel on the ground when stomping through a city. What is pikachu supposed to do?

as for volt tackle, again even assuming that Pikachu knows volt tackle, that wont do anything, space godzilla has survived far more worse things then a Pikachu volt tackle, hell pokemon like latios had survived the attack and even weaker beings too, beings that space godzilla clearly outmatches given his previous feats.
