Call for Papers and Registration for
The Second Conference on Zero/Minimal Intelligence Agents
October 21-23, 2021
 

 

Submissions are invited to the Second Conference on Zero-Intelligence/Minimal-Intelligence (ZI/MI) Agents sponsored by Yale School of Management, University of Klagenfurt and Max Planck Institute for Human Development. The virtual conference will run via Zoom on New York Time USA from October 21 8:30am-3:30pm, October 22 8:30am-3:30pm and October 23, 8:30am-5:00pm. Paper Submission deadline is June 30, 2021. An award of $500 USD will be given to the best PhD student paper. (Click here for instructions on how to submit to ZIMI2).

Submit your completed papers (when possible) or extended abstracts (approx. 1,000 words). Organizers will get back on submissions by August 15. If you are interested in organizing a session, please email ZI.session...@gmail.com. Indicate the subfield in the subject line.  

There will be no published proceedings. Submitted papers under review for the special issue of the Journal of Economic Interaction and Coordination on ZI/MI agents are welcome (details here: https://www.springer.com/journal/11403/updates/18840240) as are submissions to other journals.

Zero-Intelligence and Minimal-Intelligence agents provide valuable insights into how rules of engagement and institutional structures affect outcomes. This conference is for sharing insights, findings, theories, applications, and tools about ZI/MI agents in these areas and beyond:

  • Economics, Finance, and Business
  • Psychology, Sociology, Politics and Humanities
  • Computer Science, AI, and Machine Learning
  • Engineering, Automation, Telecommunications, and Information Systems and Control
  • Energy, Fuel, and Ecological Sciences
  • Mathematics, Statistical Physics, and Complexity
  • ZI/MI Software
