Hey everyone, it's me after like 10 years! I'm in Virginia now and a friend and I are looking to go bikepacking in Las Cruces next year, doing the Loop of Henle route. We're going to combine it with a ski trip to Taos, so our goal is to rent or borrow bikes in Las Cruces. I've been in touch with Pablo and he recommended I ask here to see if someone can help out.
My friend and I both have our own bags, I use a Tailfin rack and she a Bontrager, so rack mounts would be needed on a 54cm/M bike (or an already installed rack) while mine can go on basically any bike. I have a lead on a 58-61cm, L/XL Cutthroat for myself but would still take advice or a backup in case that falls through. I'm leaning toward gravel bikes for the adventure, as it's around half paved. If anyone has on idea on how to wrangle gravel bikes for a couple of days, I'd love the assistance.
We're planning to camp near Picacho Peak one night, then not far from Dripping Springs on the second, doing about 110 miles in 2 nights, 2.5 days from March 7-9 on this route:

I'm really excited to be back in Las Cruces for a few days, I miss it a lot. Hope everyone is well!
