Some important events of this month are as follows:

1st – Marriage of Imam Ali(a.s.) and Hazrat Fatima Zahra(s.a.)
7th – Martyrdom of Imam Mohammad Baqir(a.s.) – 114 A.H.
9th – Day of Arafa – Martyrdom of Hazrat Muslim ibn-e-Aqeel(a.s.)
10th – Hajj-e-Baitullah and Eid-ul-Azha
15th – Birth anniversary of Imam Ali Naqi(a.s.) – 212 A.H.
18th – Eid-e-Ghadeer – 10 A.H.
19th or 23rd – Martyrdom of Hazrat Meesum-e-Tmmar(a.r.)
24th – Eid-e-Mubahila – 10 A.H.
24th – Supplication day and giving of alms during Rukoo by Imam
Ali(a.s.)
25th – Acceptance of formal Khilafat by Imam Ali(a.s.)
