Request for Namaz Hadiya-e-Mayyat (Namaz wahshat-e-Qabr) It is with great sorrow and pain that I inform you that brother Syed Nazar Abbas Rizvi, who had a lot of services for the community and who was seriously ill for the last several days, has passed away - Inna Lillahe wa inna ilehe rejeoon. He will be buried in Rawalpindi in the evening of Saturday 30-August-2014. I request you to kindly recite: - Salawat 3 times pray for the salvation (maghfirat) of brother Syed Nazar Abbas Rizvi son of Syed Jabbar Hussain Rizvi. Please also recite Namaz Hadiya-e-Mayyat (also known as Namaz Wahshat-e-Qabr) in the evening of Saturday 30-August-2014 between the namaz of Maghrib and Isha. The method is as follows: In the first rakat, recite Sura Fatiha followed by Ayatul Kursi (up to Hum Feeha Khalidoon). In the second rakat, recite Sura Fatiha followed by Sura Qadr (Inna anzanlahu fee lailatil Qadr) 10 times. Then complete the namaz just like the namaza of Fajr.
Allahumma salle ala Muhammadin wa aale Muhammadin wab-as sawaba hatain-ir rak-ataini ila qabr-e-Syed Nazar Abbas Rizvi ibn e Syed Jabbar Hussain Rizvi.
