Martyrdom of Prof. Syed Sibt-e-Jafer Zaidi

As Salam-o-alaikum,

Further to my earlier message on the subject, please note a typo that needs to be corrected. In the Namaz of Wahshat-e-Qabr, in second rakat Sura Hamd is followed by Sura Qadr which is to be recited 10 times.

Here is the complete method of offering namaz of wahshat-e-Qabr:

 

-          Make niyyat (intention) to recite 2 rakat of wahshat-e-qabr

-          In first Rakat, recite Sura Fatiha followed by Ayat-ul-Kursi (upto Hum Feeha Khalidoon)

-          In second Rakat, recite Sura Fatiha followed by Sura Qadr x 10 times.

-          Complete the prayer like any other 2 rakat prayer

-          Recite “Allahumma Salle ala Muhammdin wa aale Muhammadin wab-as sawaba haateenir rakataini ila qabr-e-Syed Sibt-e-Jafer Zaidi”

 

One of the most famous manqabat of Prof. Zaidi was "Jab Khuda to pukara Ali aa gaye" and in that there was a verse:

Ghusl-e-Mayyat na kehna meray ghusl ko

Ujlay malboos ko mat kafan naam do

May chala hoon Ali(a.s.) se mulaqaat ko

Jis ki thi aarzo woh ghari aa gaye

 

غسلِ میت نہ کہنا میرے غسل کو      اجلے ملبوس کو مت کفن نام دو

میں چلا ہوں علی(ع) سے ملاقات کو    جس کی تھی آرزو وہ گھڑی آ گئی

May Allah(swt) grant high status to him among the ghulaman-e-Aal-e-Muhammad(a.s.) and grant sabr to his family.
