Hey gang;
Sorry we weren't able to make this month's launch in Espanola. Grant was not feeling well after just getting his mouth wired up with braces. It looks like we missed quite a lot of fun judging by the write up and the pictures.
*** And by missing the launch I wasn't able to announce that ARS is once again hosting their FUN Sport Regional launch in RIo Rancho over Labor Day weekend. There's some fun events scheduled that are NOT listed in the link below including a "Skidmark Drag Race" for Saturday morning. And at this point I am also planning to re-create my L3 Cert. flight (from this year's NARAM) on Saturday, this time hopefully without the launch pad jumping about !! Maybe I can get the thing to thermal again ?
Anyways this year there will be an odd-roc contest, and I think my competition will be you guys and gals in ZIA. Y'all really have some creativity in this area and should give me some good competition. If I wasn't flying in it myself, I would think ANY of you guys could easily win. (And yes I am thinking of Joyce too, her goose and pig stuff look like a lot of fun !!)
