Very Good!
You can turn to use ubuntu from Windows easily.
Thanks to the X Window, it gives Linux the Graphic User Interface like
MS Windows,and make new Linuxers easily to use.
It's a good news that you can open and edit the MS Office files,
pictures, musics and movies of Windows in Linux,
and you can use GTalk, MSN, QQ etc., share your documents with Windows
or UNIX users in Linux too.
The Gimp in Linux is a software like Photoshop, also a very great image
editor, but it's FREE!
However, if you communicate with Windows users mainly, you'd better
keep Linux and Windows in your PC at the same time, for some special
software has only Windows versions.
