Thank you Fred for the proposal, indeed i was thinking the same few time ago: that it's time to meet up before I might leave Malta. Obviously nothing is yet sure and I hope to stay here longer, but this month I finished Uni (reason for being in malta) and time came to go back to Italy. That is why I wish to see you all before, so I do not organize stuff last moment.. What do you think about Sunday 1st July, a BBQ on the beach somewhere?

So in all we are going to be 25 persons. 19 Adults and 6 children. So my Idea is to book a table in a central area for us all,  Which is one of the restaurants at Valletta waterfront (Bistro 516) http://www.bistro516malta.com/OurMenus/tabid/451/Default.aspx. The link is for those who would love to check the menu.

 

But before confirming and book a table, I really appreciate if someone have a better and logistically easier idea may share it with us on this email and help me implementing it  😊. If no one will share until this coming Monday 9th July,  I will take it that every one like the restaurant idea and I will book the table.

In view of the children, and us being a large group I would suggest picnic/bbq on the beach rather than a restaurant as it would make it easier to socialise and the children can play. However, there aren't any sandy beaches in the central area, so it depends whether everyone would like to go to for example Gnejna/Golden Bay or Birzebbuga.

We will meet at golden bay at around 8pm, (the upper part where  the stairs to go to the beach are). Everyone bring with him food/snacks and drinks, lamps, chairs. I do not know if we can do BBQ there without permission. I think that we can do it as a PICNIC.

Currently we are passing through some difficult time with our baby Valeria as we are meeting difficulties re feeding. Also as from next week, Anastasia's mother, sister with two kids will be coming to Malta and staying at our place so we would be rather busy. Unfortunately, I think we have to skip the activity although I really wish to meet up again with you guys.

Enjoy it and hopefully I will be able to meet you in better times.

Hi all,

Golden Bay, were there is the restaurant Apple's Eye keep going down.

Kindly note that to go to this beach you can't keep going straight nowadays and then turning right down to Apple's Eye restaurant.l as that road which was two way is now one sided to parking and the other for traffic.

Will be sending a map from Google maps a bit later today with the exact way to pass. So that no one will be having problems to arrive.

Yes time still 6pm.
