Dear all,
This Saturday, I will talk about the paper "Collaborative Prediction and Ranking with Non-Random Missing Data", RecSys 2009.
Collaborative filtering and recommender systems are principally concerned with two related problems: rating prediction and ranking. Most models assume that the
ratings are missing at random, which is easily violated. For example, users are more likely to supply ratings of items they like. This paper is the first empirical analysis in the presence of non-random missing data.
All are welcome!
Best regards,
Chihao
